Primary Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations Specialist to join our growing SaaS company. This role will be crucial in supporting our sales, marketing and customer support teams by managing internal and customer requests for financial and operational assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS sales processes and be proficient with various financial platforms and CRM systems.
- Set up new customer profiles, complete necessary registrations, and manage required forms for onboarding
- Respond to and resolve billing inquiries from customers and internal teams
- Reconcile sales and shipment reports to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems
- Review sales contracts for key terms, pricing, and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to streamline order processing and fulfillment
- Assist in maintaining and updating customer records in CRM and financial systems
- Generate and analyze reports on key SaaS metrics such as MRR, churn rate, and customer acquisition costs
- Support the finance team in month-end close processes and revenue recognition tasks
- Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures to improve efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance business operations and customer experience
Who you are:
- You have experience setting up and managing customer onboarding processes, ensuring all forms, registrations, and systems are correctly maintained.
- You are a proactive problem-solver who confidently addresses billing inquiries and ensures timely resolution for both customers and internal teams.
- You have a strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and are comfortable reconciling sales and shipment data across platforms.
- You have a sharp eye for reviewing contracts and identifying key terms, pricing details, and compliance requirements.
- You thrive in cross-functional environments, working closely with sales, customer success, and finance teams to streamline processes and deliver a seamless customer experience.
- You are comfortable working within CRM and financial systems and take pride in keeping data accurate and up to date.
- You are analytical and data-driven, with the ability to generate reports and draw insights from SaaS business metrics like MRR, churn, and CAC.
- You bring a strong operational mindset and enjoy improving workflows and implementing scalable procedures.
- You are collaborative, adaptable, and excited to contribute to cross-functional projects that drive growth and efficiency.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in business and financial principles.
- You have 2+ years of experience in SaaS operations, finance, or similar roles, with a solid understanding of the fast-paced and data-driven SaaS environment.
- You have proficiency in CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce, along with financial platforms such as Maxio, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
- Are comfortable and efficient working in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, especially Sheets, for building reports and analyzing data.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills—you’re clear, concise, and confident when sharing information with teammates and stakeholders.

Benefits:

- (FT) Base salary of $45,000–$55,000 per year. (PT) $20.00-$25.00/ Hr.
