Job Description
The
Sales Operations and Support Specialist will serve as an ad hoc utility team member who will have diverse set of responsibilities to support various functions across the sales team to serve as a versatile support resource for various relationship management and sales operational related initiatives as needed. Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and assist wherever it is most needed to support the relationship management and sales and sales operations team. This role will also have opportunities to serve as a lead for various initiatives as demand requires.
Responsibilities
The role will serve as a utility team member for the Relationship Manager team with overflow work support for sales and sales operations as needed and is a dynamic and flexible role that will have the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience. Here are some examples of ad hoc work this position will have responsibilities for as needed:
- Review Initial/Ongoing Billing: Verify the accuracy of billing for all sales orders to ensure correct pricing, discounts, and terms were applied. Track and ensure billing has initiated.
- Annual Renewals Management: Monitor and manage annual renewals, ensuring timely notifications to the billing team and customers by sales team along with requirements.
- Track Non-Standard Terms: Maintain a detailed record of non-standard terms and conditions, ensuring they are correctly applied and adhered to in all relevant transactions. This would also include SLA impact for contracts that include it.
- Monitor VOE rev share commitments: Ensure rev share payments are being delivered accurately and timely per contract terms
- Triage Billing concerns: Liaison between CDE/RM account team and Finance/Billing/CS to correct discrepancies as they are identified. Report resolution back to account team.
- Assist with developing business review decks: Gather client metrics and input to standard slide deck for account team
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales operations, sales, billing, and customer service teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on billing accuracy, renewal status, retention rate, and compliance with non-standard terms.
- Documentation: Create necessary documentation for sales operations team and sales end users
- Provide additional resources and support during peak times or special projects
- Ad Hoc Sales Support and Operation: Adapt to changing priorities and provide versatile support wherever it is most needed in sales
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Experian products and services
- Basic knowledge of statistical methods
- Basic knowledge of PC desktop, mainframe, and database applications
- Experience with SFDC and Excel
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability in Excel to analyze data, compare data and produce outputs
- Experience juggling multiple projects at one time
- 1 -3 years of experience working in Salesforce.com
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with Seismic or some other Sales Enablement Internal Platform
- Experience tracking project management tasks and accountability to hold team to schedule
- Experience working with marketing, finance, learning, and tool vendors
- Proficiency in Sales Enablement Tool Stack, such as: Salesforce, Seismic, Outreach, Zoom Info, Gong, Prolific Crush
