Xurrent, Inc. (“Xurrent”) is seeking an experienced Director of business Operations to lead our business systems, IT, and security strategy and posture. You will be responsible for helping to drive the strategy and to lead the implementation and optimization of business applications and enterprise systems that support company operations. This role involves overseeing system integrations, managing a staff of analysts and administrators, and ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives: improve efficiency, and prepare the organization for growth and scale. This role reports to the office of the CFO and will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, HR, and Operations to drive efficiency and scalability through technology. The Director will also manage internal IT and work with Dev Ops to contribute to the management of security and data privacy compliance across the Company.
Responsibilities
Business Systems:
- Partner with business leaders to identify tools and systems to enhance company efficiency, productivity, scalability, and security
- Oversee the implementation, integration, enhancement, and support of various business systems, ensuring they work cohesively and efficiently together; key business systems include sf.com, Clari, Hubspot, NetSuite, and BambooHR
- Starting with one sf.com/GTM ops sys admin, build out and manage the team required to provide first-class business systems support
- With the CFO, develop a plan to implement a business intelligence system that will pull together data from the various supported business systems to deliver real-time information via an easily usable UI
- Develop and own the business system procurement process including enterprise-wide applications; work with external vendors to ensure superior service delivery. Maintain knowledge of vendor product direction and future offerings
- Define internal SLAs and appropriate support commitments for all supported apps
- Plan and deliver systems upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements across all functional areas; oversee testing
- Ensure that the company adheres to Xurrent’s information security and data privacy policies; protect the intellectual property of Xurrent at all times.
- With the Director of FP&A, develop and maintain the Biz Systems budget and oversee spending within budget.
IT:
- Oversee the management and optimization of IT infrastructure; management of internal international IT team
- Review, update and implement as needed IT policies and procedures to support business operations and manage risk; review and update as needed the design of the company IT and network strategy.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of all IT and corporate systems to avoid downtime and operational disruption
- Analyze real-time IT security threats and take immediate measures to mitigate them. Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, and advise management on appropriate countermeasures.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of the IT network to uphold optimal security levels.
- Procure the hardware and software needed to implement the IT strategy, and negotiate contracts.
- Prevent internal breaches or misuse of data; Investigate the causes of internal and external security and data breaches and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain the IT budget and oversee spending within budget.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in business systems management, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s a +).
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications such as CRMs (Salesforce, Clari and HubSpot), ERPs (ideally NetSuite) HRIS (Bamboo a +), and Google apps. Strong knowledge of cloud-based solutions, SaaS platforms, and automation tools. Significant experience implementation and supporting enterprise business applications.
- Experience managing internal IT functions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-growing, changing environment; excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A balance of strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to business operations; strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in implementing corporate technologies and policies.
