Job Overview
Our client building a world-class Revenue Operations team to enable our next stage of growth, and our Deal Desk is vital to driving revenue. The Deal Desk team is responsible for creating a streamlined and scalable quote to cash process, increasing deal velocity while maximizing deal value. This person will support the go-to-market teams by creating order forms, processing deals in Salesforce utilizing CPQ, providing guidance on deal structure, and ensuring compliance with policies. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial and self-starter mentality with a data-driven approach to analyzing business challenges and results.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Create order forms for non-standard deals and opportunities not yet supported in Salesforce.com CPQ.
- Process quotes and orders in Salesforce.com for non-standard deals and opportunity types not yet optimized for sales in CPQ.
- Audit deals processed through CPQ by sales to ensure process adherence by sales and system setup.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales on pricing, product configuration, and business terms, and provide insights to improve deal structure and sales strategy
- Identify and implement optimizations to our quoting and approval processes, to drive a shorter deal cycle, automate where possible and integrate workflows with existing systems.
- Train, mentor, and enable sales teams on deal structure principles, pricing, and packaging

Education & Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Deal Desk, Deal Strategy, Sales, and/or Sales Operations in a fast-paced B2B tech company, SaaS experience a plus
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com
- Hands-on experience with CPQ is a plus.
