Eightcap is building and delivering a new financial literacy educational product to introduce users to cryptocurrency as an empowering financial tool. This project is seeking a Business Operations Associate to collaborate with and support the Product Manager in building and delivering this ambitious product.
The Business Operations Associate will work closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams – including Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations and Compliance – to ensure that business objectives are met through project delivery, data analysis, project management support and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Product Manager to define and analyse new business opportunities and product strategy through a deep understanding of the market
- Employ a data-driven approach to driving strategy and strategic outcomes for the product
- Analyse key market trends and monitor product data to ensure product is achieving ambitions and targets
- Remain up-to-date on relevant news and industry knowledge to be able to share back to team and inform product decisions
- Collaborate closely with Product Manager to manage day-to-day activities of product operations and delivery of product roadmap
- Ensure stakeholders are informed through effective communication, providing timely information, reports, and insights
- Work cross-functionally with teams to align on priorities and deliver outcomes (e.g., Partners, tech, marketing, design, compliance and finance)
Who are you?
- A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience (1-2 years) as an analyst or similar capacity within a relevant industry.
- Make informed decisions and insights through a data driven approach using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL etc)
- Understand and contribute to long-term plans by analysing data and market trends to support organisational goals.
- Work effectively with diverse teams of colleagues and external parties to achieve project objectives.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and/or cryptocurrency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present ideas and data-driven insights to different audiences including external, key stakeholders and peers.
- Approach problems in a logical and analytical manner, using data and insights to drive desired product outcomes.
- Awareness and understanding of emerging markets and ability to research and apply product applications across different geographical regions (desired)
- Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and experience working in an agile environment (desired)
