For our Containerships / SSL INEUR Headoffice in Hamburg we are recruiting a Chief Financial Offer (f/m/d):
Key responsibilities:
The Chief Financial Officer is part of the Management Team and Board of Containerships (Deutschland) GmbH and supervising Finance department. The jobholder is responsible for strategic and operational accounting and ensures that the interests of CMA CGM are safeguarded at all times. The jobholder shall organise the cooperation of his/her department with other departments of the Group.
Main responsabilities within the Finance & Accounting Department:
- Disciplinary and professional management of the finance department and its continuous development
- Overall strategic and operational responsibility for internal and external accounting
- Manage compliance, ensure enforcement of Group rules and applicable regulations, through the implementation of the Group internal controls, risk management practices and fraud prevention
- Optimisation and further development of internal finance and reporting processes
- Management and control of actuals vs budget
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB and related reporting
- Direct contact for banks, tax advisors and auditors
- Carrying out the audit of the financial statements (trial balance control)
- Planning, organisation and implementation of local projects
- Analytical review and ongoing monitoring of all corporate key figures
- Manage and Control General Ledger month-end closing
- In charge for the Containerships Group subsidiaries
- Work in close cooperation with Finance department of the CMA CGM Group
- Main systems in use: SAP
Education, skills and experiences / competencies:
- MBA, Diploma in Economics or similar
- Minimum five to ten years experience in a management position
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both German and English
- Hands on mentality
- Accuracy, reliability, ability to work under pressure,
- Good people and change management skills
