Required Skills:
- 3-5+ years’ Sales Analyst experience
- Deep understanding of key sales metrics (KPIs) like: lead generation, conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, revenue, gross margins, daily average sales, quotes won/lost, new business, quote turnaround time, avg time to answer the phone, call abandonment rates, calls made per day, etc.
- Strong Excel experience - manipulating data sets, creating pivot tables, savy with Excel formulas
- Expertise in leveraging CRMs, Excel, and PowerBI to query/extract data, manipulate large sales related datasets, and analyzing data to identify gaps/areas for improvement
- Ability to create reports and presentations with data visualizations (charts, graphs) to effectively analyze and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Experience within CRM systems (i.e. Dynamics 365, Proton AI) to define presales processes, sales pipelines, track customer interactions and analyze activities
- Technical experience with defining requirements to create effective PowerBI dashboards
- Critical thinker and communicator that will help the organization leverage data to challenge the way they think about sales and improve sales processes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Industry experience in automotive, industrial, and/or construction sales would be a huge asset
- Territory management experience with mapping software, moving accounts inside/outside sales reps (they use AlignMix)
- SAP and P21 experience
Job Description:
Insight Global's client is looking for a strong Sales Operations Analyst who will analyze the organization's sales KPIs, extract and prepare data to identify areas for performance and productivity improvement. They will work closely with the Sales executives and inside/outside sales representations to identify trends, optimize processes, and implement changes. This person must be a tech savvy individual with strong Excel skills, and ability to communicate data and challenge the way they think about sales strategy.
Day to Day:
- They will be joining the sales operations team and reporting to sales operations manager
- Gather and organize sales data from various sources
- Identify patterns, trends and opportunities for improvements
- Create sales reports, market trend reports, performance reports and dashboards
- Assist with developing sales forecasts by using historical data, market trends and business intelligence to accurately predict sales performance
- Identify and implement changes to increase efficiency and promote process automation
- Assist with setting and tracking sales KPIs, and support sales team efforts to meet them
- Super user and help desk support for CRM systems
- Maintain territories and solve account and territory alignment questions
- Collaborate with the sales team and other technical resources to improve and promote sales process automation
