Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Remote in Nashville, TN
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations, drive growth, and ensure the company's financial health.
Position Summary:
The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business. This includes financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the family entertainment or hospitality sectors. Experience with a vertically integrated franchise system, including wholesale and importing, is a plus, as it demonstrates a strong understanding of managing and optimizing operations across various levels of the business. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth and profitability.
- Lead the accounting team and oversee the development and management of accounting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks, investments, and capital structure.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Oversee financial modeling for new business ventures, expansion, and capital projects.
Operational Finance:
- Optimize financial processes, systems, and controls for efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure robust cost control measures across family entertainment and food service operations.
- Partner with operational leaders to align financial goals with business objectives.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage external audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and industry regulations.
- Present financial results and insights to the board of directors and stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive cross-departmental communication to support company-wide financial literacy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including as CFO or senior financial executive.
- Experience in family entertainment, hospitality, or food service industries is required.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, cash flow management, and capital allocation.
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and scale financial systems.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with private equity or investor relations is a plus.
