Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at a mid-sized privately held manufacturing company based in Waukegan, IL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, particularly in turnaround situations and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
Lead efforts to improve financial performance and ensure the company's financial health.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize working capital and manage cash flow.
Implement costing systems for process manufacturing to enhance cost control and efficiency.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other senior executives to drive the company's growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in turnaround situations and working capital management.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
