- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

AWS is seeking a Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist to drive business development efforts to scale world-wide adoption of key components of AWS AI/ML platform. As GenAI/ML Specialist you will be responsible for defining, building and deploying targeted programs to accelerate worldwide adoption of SageMaker AI.
The ideal candidate will possess outbound product management or business development experience in machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI. They will have experience in driving engagements and interactions directly with customers at large enterprises and technology partners. The candidate will have technical knowledge and business experience to communicate the benefits of using managed ML/Deep Learning/GenAI services to ML platform engineering, data science and business intelligence teams at Manager and Director levels at our customers. Finally, the candidate will have experience in, and be passionate about executing scalable programs that apply holistic, business problem-driven approaches to selling to enterprises and enterprise partners.
Key job responsibilities
Be the outward face of AWS generative AI and machine learning by defining and executing go-to-market activities for Amazon SageMaker. You will be working hand-in-hand with AWS generative AI and machine learning Solution Architects, Product Managers and Marketing Managers to run world-wide sales plays and campaigns that target specific customer cohorts and drive specific use-cases and service capabilities. You will be engaging directly with customers’ business stakeholders on a daily basis to understand their needs in generative AI and machine learning and help them adopt the right Service capabilities. Your work will drive the process that regional AI/ML presales and account teams will follow to accelerate sales and partner engagements of the AWS ML Services portfolio and you will synthesize data and information gathered from these customers and partners into your GTM strategy to successfully scale service adoption. This entails developing and driving messaging with pre-sales and sales teams, garnering impactful customer and market insights, communicating those findings to product teams. This also involves educating and enabling regional AI/ML presales and AWS account teams to drive effective sales plays and campaigns to accelerate worldwide adoption of AWS ML Services.

- 3+ years of product management, business development and/or global technical pre-sales roles at B2B companies (Enterprises, Startups, Management consulting or System Integration Services Companies, preferably in ML, AI).
- Experience in driving adoption of complex product portfolios with price, performance tradeoffs and communicating it to field teams and customers.
- Experience driving outbound product management, business development and/or technical pre-sales for end-end solutions consisting of several products/services.
- Technical/business background in deep learning / generative AI.
- Publications or presentation in recognized deep learning / generative AI journals and/or conferences
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
