JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Operations Specialist supports the sales team by managing processes, tools, and resources that enable them to achieve their targets. This role involves data analysis, process improvement, and coordination between different departments to ensure efficient sales operations and better performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Streamline sales processes, identify bottlenecks, and improve workflows to increase sales efficiency
· Analyze sales data and provide insights, reports, and recommendations to enhance performance and support decision-making
· Oversee the management and utilization of sales tools and technologies (e.g. CRM systems,) ensuring proper integration and functionality.
· Assist in the creation and delivery of training materials or sessions for the sales team on tools, processes, and best practices.
· Work closely with other departments (e.g. Marketing, finance, customer service) to align sales strategies and address any issues or concerns
· Maintain up to date documentation of sales processes, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
· Work with sales leadership to refine and improve sales processes.
· Attend tradeshows and hosted events in a support role to the sales team.
· Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with different teams.
- This role requires someone who is result oriented, a self-starter and a pro-active
- Ability to reliably commute to the designated reporting DCL site when required to work in office.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field, or comparable record of sales experience required.
· Proven experience in sales operations, business operations or a related role.
· Proficiency in CRMS systems (e.g. Salesforce) and sales performance tools
· Sales and Operational experience in Logistics and/or 3PL industry is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
