In this role, you will be responsible for handling ocean import shipments including port to port release and destination door delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in tools such as GOFREIGHT systems. Your ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights will be crucial in driving operational efficiency and enhancing business performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth email communication with foreign agents and local customers.
- Skilled use of GOFREIGHT system to help you understand the real-time status of all goods.
- Have the ability to respond quickly to emergent situations and solve problems.
- Analyze operational processes and recommend enhancements for increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast operational needs based on data analysis.
- Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in GOFREIGHT systems.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Experience in freight forwarding business or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey insights clearly.
