Role Overview
The Director of Sales Operations will drive sales, marketing, and customer success strategies to optimize revenue growth at Chase Corporation. Reporting to the VP of Global Sales, this role is responsible for implementing commercial best practices, sales processes, analytics, CRM (Salesforce), and performance management to enhance sales team effectiveness. As a newly created position, this leader will build a Sales Operations function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Operations & Growth Initiatives
- Oversee the execution of commercial growth initiatives through the Commercial Growth Room, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and implement a Commercial Kaizen Roadmap, driving continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and efficiency.
Sales Enablement & Performance Optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide sales teams with training, resources, analytics, and tools to enhance productivity.
- Design, implement, and monitor compensation plans in partnership with Finance to drive sales performance.
- Lead CRM (Salesforce) oversight and strategy, ensuring data accuracy, alignment with sales goals, and system enhancements.
Data Analytics & Sales Forecasting
- Conduct in-depth sales analysis, identifying trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasting models to predict revenue trends and align sales targets with organizational goals.
- Establish and track commercial KPIs (pipeline, wins, orders, productivity) to support data-driven decision-making.
People Leadership & Change Management
- Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing Sales Operations team.
- Drive change management and process adoption, ensuring smooth implementation of new sales strategies and tools.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial experience with increasing responsibilities.
- 3+ years of team leadership and Sales Operations experience, including implementing best practices, processes, and analytics in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation, and BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Looker).
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) in a sales-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills, with the ability to drive process adoption and continuous improvement.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Management, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
