We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to help launch and scale a high-growth equipment finance platform. This executive will shape the company’s financial foundation, oversee core finance operations, and create the discipline needed to support rapid expansion. The role also carries significant responsibility for funding strategy and capital markets execution, making it ideal for a leader who can combine operational rigor with external financial partnership development.
Responsibilities:
• Build and lead the company’s finance organization, establishing policies, workflows, and controls that can support growth from an early-stage platform to an established business.
• Direct financial planning activities by creating budgets, forecasts, performance reporting, and decision-support analysis for executive leadership.
• Oversee treasury and liquidity management to ensure the business maintains appropriate funding capacity and cash discipline as originations expand.
• Develop the capital markets function, including preparation for warehouse lending arrangements, asset-backed securitization activity, and broader financing strategies.
• Manage relationships with lending partners, investors, and rating agencies to strengthen the company’s access to capital and support long-term growth.
• Maintain accountability for accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards while supervising outsourced accounting resources.
• Design internal reporting packages and key metrics that provide clear visibility into company performance, portfolio trends, and financial health.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and risk considerations tied to business expansion.
• Recruit and develop an internal finance team over time, creating structure and capability as the organization grows.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred
- Knowledge of ASC 842, ASC 860, GAAP, and financial reporting
- Experience building finance teams, processes, and reporting in high-growth environments
- Strong treasury, liquidity, cash forecasting, and debt management experience
- Experience with warehouse facilities, institutional lenders, audits, and outsourced accounting
- Strong FP& A, financial modeling, and executive reporting skills
- ABS/securitization experience , including funding strategy and investor relations
- Advanced Excel and finance systems experience
