About the business
We are recruiting for a fast-growing technology company that helps large global brands grow their revenue through their own digital channels. It combines transformation consulting with a modular software platform and has teams across Europe and Asia.
The business is backed by a leading growth equity investor and has recently formed a strategic commercial alliance that expands its product range and opens up new markets.
The opportunity
The business’s enterprise contracts are large, multi-year and milestone-billed, making cash management as important as profitability. The CFO will strengthen the finance fundamentals, improve how contract terms and billing convert into cash, give the CEO and Board clear and timely reporting, and build the processes and systems needed to scale, including through acquisitions. This is a hands-on, broad role. Alongside finance, the CFO is responsible for legal, IT, facilities and people.
About you
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leadership experience in a VC- or PE-backed technology business
- Experience selling to, or delivering for, enterprise clients, ideally on large, multi-year, milestone-based contracts
- A demonstrable record of improving cash conversion, cutting debtor days and forecasting cash accurately
- Experience of Board and investor reporting, and of working closely with a growth equity or private equity investor
- Hands-on M&A experience, from diligence through to integration
- Revenue recognition experience for mixed services and software/SaaS revenue
- Comfort owning legal, IT, facilities and people

- Location: London, hybrid with 2-3 days a week in the office
