Job Description
One of our clients is a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services. As part of our digital transformation journey, we are implementing a strategic CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solution to streamline quoting processes, enhance customer experience, and enable scalable revenue growth across our global business units.
End-to-End Platform Architect
This position is an experienced CPQ Platform Architect to lead the end-to-end design, solutioning, and implementation of our enterprise-grade CPQ platform. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong business acumen, and experience with multi-system integrations including CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce), ERP (SAP) and Price Management and Smart CPQ (PROS).
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Design
a. Define the target architecture for CPQ platform across global lines of business
b. Lead the solution design for complex quoting, pricing, and product configuration processes
c. Translate business requirements into scalable, performant technical designs
2. Integration Strategy
a. Design seamless integrations between CPQ and systems including PROS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce CRM and SAP
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
a. Partner with business, IT, and enterprise architecture teams to align on roadmap and priorities
b. Collaborate with product owners and SMEs to capture current state and define future Workflows
4. Governance & Best Practices
a. Establish CPQ platform governance, design standards, and reusability frameworks
b. Ensure solutions are compliant with client's security, scalability, and performance Guidelines
5. Delivery Oversight
a. Provide technical leadership across multiple implementation workstreams
b. Review vendor solutions and guide development/configuration teams
c. Own end-to-end technical quality of CPQ platform rollouts
Required Qualifications
● 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture
● 5+ years of hands-on experience with CPQ solutions (e.g., PROS, Salesforce CPQ, Conga, Tacton, or similar)
● Strong understanding of product configuration, guided selling, discounting models, approval
● workflows, and contract lifecycle
● Deep integration experience with at least two major CRM/ERP platforms (preferably Microsoft
● Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP)
● Familiarity with subscription pricing, tiered pricing, and usage-based pricing models
● Experience in multi-region/global CPQ rollouts and localization strategies
● Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desired Skills
● Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical sectors
● Knowledge of MuleSoft and Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Service Bus)
● Understanding of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD best practices for CPQ
● Prior experience working with large system integrators or digital transformation program
