Position SummaryYankeeKicks is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all financial operations and guide the company through its next phase of growth. This is a key executive role responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance across all business units. The CFO will be a critical partner to the CEO and executive team, helping to shape and execute strategic initiatives, improve profitability, and support capital raising activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all financial functions including accounting, treasury, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and risk management.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the CEO, investors, and board of directors.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and processes for scalability.
- Monitor cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement to ensure financial health and alignment with growth goals.
- Support strategic decision-making related to new store openings, international expansion, consignment model evolution, and technology investments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including debt/equity structuring, investor relations, and due diligence.
- Partner with department heads to align financial targets with operational plans.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 3–5 years at the CFO or VP Finance level.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, fashion, or consumer goods is highly desirable.
- Proven success in scaling high-growth businesses and managing complex financial operations.
- Advanced financial modeling and strategic planning skills.
- Familiarity with fundraising, investor relations, and M&A activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable implementing financial software/tools to improve efficiency.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Aventura, FL.
