Vortechs is hiring on behalf of Guident, a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle teleoperations service provider. Guident's mission is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of autonomous vehicles through advanced remote monitoring and control systems.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. This is a strategic and operational role, ideal for a candidate with public company CFO experience, a history of leading or supporting IPOs, and deep familiarity with SEC compliance, SOX, and GAAP reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of scaling financial operations in the technology and/or transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all financial operations: accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, internal controls.
- Lead SEC reporting processes (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial statements and disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop and execute financial strategy and long-term capital planning.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting cycles.
- Ensure SOX compliance and maintain internal control integrity.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic and financial decisions.
- Support investor relations and capital market activities.
- Manage key external relationships (auditors, banks, investors).
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and corporate governance practices.
- Administer financial workflows including A/P, A/R, and payroll.
- Lead implementation and optimization of financial systems.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA license (mandatory)
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership
- Experience supporting or leading IPO processes
- Strong background in SEC reporting and public company compliance
- Hands-on experience across the full financial reporting cycle
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
- Industry experience in technology, mobility, or transportation sectors preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic financial planning skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CFO experience at a publicly traded company
- Experience with mobility, autonomous vehicle, or transportation technologies
- Exposure to M&A, capital markets, and transaction integration
- Familiarity with subscription-based or recurring revenue business models
- Experience with international operations and financial reporting
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $120,000 – $200,000

Additional Information
- This is an on-site position in Boca Raton, FL
- Up to 20% travel may be required
