Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000 annually + Full Benefits Package

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will play a critical role in managing all aspects of financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and oversight of real estate investment portfolios. This role is a key advisor to the Board of Directors and the executive team, contributing to organizational sustainability, impact, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal financial advisor to the Board of Directors and CEO.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and audits, including preparation of 990s and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure financial controls, internal systems, and real estate project budgets are aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and debt/financing strategies.
- Supervise finance and accounting staff and/or vendors.
- Support grant and project-based financial planning and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, MBA, or equivalent credential strongly preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in nonprofit or real estate-related financial management.
- In-depth understanding of nonprofit accounting standards, GAAP, FASB, and funder compliance.
- Demonstrated success in audit coordination, grant budgeting, and financial oversight.
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Technology-savvy with experience in financial systems and software.
- Valid driver's license and access to insured vehicle.
