Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) located in Mumbai for Female Candidates Only. The CFO will be responsible for all financial operations, including:
- Financial planning and forecasting
- Financial reporting and compliance
- Managing and overseeing financial statements
- Analyzing financial data and preparing detailed reports
- Providing strategic financial guidance to support business goals
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance financial performance and growth
The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and audits
- Develop financial models and provide strategic recommendations
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and cash flow
- Evaluate and mitigate financial risks
- Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational strategy
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership
- Prior experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry is an added advantage
