Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring robust financial management, and driving growth through strategic planning and analysis. This position requires a deep understanding of corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, as well as the ability to lead and inspire a finance team.
Duties
- Oversee all financial operations, including corporate accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements while managing risk through effective risk analysis and management strategies.
- Lead financial planning initiatives, including revenue management and expense management to optimize profitability.
- Direct mergers & acquisitions activities to support business development and growth objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to inform strategic planning and fiscal management decisions.
- Supervise treasury management functions to ensure liquidity and effective cash flow management.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior leadership and the board of directors, interpreting complex financial data for informed decision-making.
- Manage payroll processes and oversee cost control measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives while ensuring sound fiscal practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, ASC 606, COSO frameworks, governmental accounting principles, and non-profit accounting practices is preferred.
- Expertise in financial modeling, analysis skills, budgeting, cost accounting, tax accounting, and revenue cycle management.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation skills and business analysis to drive strategic initiatives.
- Proficient in using financial software tools for reporting and analysis; familiarity with IAS standards is advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience supervising finance teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial concepts for diverse stakeholders.
