- Build dashboards and reporting tools to track business, team, and portfolio performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks, and legal counsel.
- Team Leadership & Oversight
- Lead, mentor, and challenge finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Establish strong internal controls, compliance processes, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure all finance team outputs and portfolio company reports are reviewed, validated, and optimized.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in investment firms, VC/PE-backed companies, or high-growth businesses.
- Strong track record in monthly closing, FP&A, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and employees.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, tax, and legal frameworks.
- Proven ability in performance management at both organizational and employee levels.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance strongly preferred.
Required Skills

- Excellent negotiator and communicator, able to manage clients, vendors, employees, and investors.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a focus on cost optimization and value creation.
- Someone who can “trust but verify” — ensuring finance teams and portcos deliver accurate, high-quality work.
- An entrepreneurial, problem-solving mindset suited for a fast-paced, dynamic investment environment.
