Position Overview
Our client is conducting a search for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to serve as the CEO's strategic financial partner during the next phase of significant growth. This executive will lead enterprise financial strategy across a diversified portfolio of operating businesses while helping execute acquisitions, optimize capital allocation, expand a captive insurance platform, and support national and international expansion initiatives. This is a highly strategic leadership position focused on enterprise value creation rather than day-to-day accounting operations, with an established accounting leadership team already in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CEO on enterprise financial strategy and executive decision-making.
- Develop long-term financial plans that support aggressive organic and acquisition-driven growth.
- Lead financial evaluation, valuation modeling, due diligence, and integration of mergers and acquisitions.
- Build scalable financial infrastructure, executive reporting, and enterprise KPI dashboards.
- Oversee treasury management, banking relationships, financing strategies, and capital deployment.
- Provide financial leadership for the organization's captive insurance platform, including growth strategy and capital optimization.
- Evaluate investment opportunities using private equity-style financial analysis and portfolio management principles.
- Support commercial real estate investment decisions and broader strategic investment initiatives.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, banking, and external advisory partners on complex financial transactions.
- Help establish the financial infrastructure and reporting capabilities necessary to support future investment platform initiatives.
- Lead strategic initiatives that improve enterprise performance and long-term shareholder value.

- 15+ years of progressive executive finance leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success leading finance within complex, multi-entity organizations.
- Extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence.
