StevenDouglas has been retained on an incredible CFO opportunityin Austin, Texas.

This is a newly created role due to company growth. The CFO reports to the CEO and is accountable for the vision, strategy, and leadership of the Finance, Accounting, and IT organizations. This is a "working" CFO role.

Responsibilities

The CFO is responsible for the financial well-being of the corporation, implementing robust financial and KPI reporting, overseeing the audit procedures, and providing leadership in M&A initiatives, including due diligence and integration. They will work closely with senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution of margin improvement and capital management initiatives.

Individuals must have the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, action-oriented culture and build a high-performing finance team that embodies these values while bringing the financial discipline, systems rigor, and strategic capabilities needed to scale the business.

Candidates will act with humility as a “player coach” and frequently take a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
12+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in financial roles in a company(s) with annual revenue in excess of $50 million.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate with a sense of urgency in a fast-growing company.
Motivated by the opportunity to make a transformative impact as a senior leader in a high-growth, market-leading business.
Rolls up sleeves to understand the business from the production floor up—translating operational realities into financial insights and strategy.
Experience supporting the evolution of foundational systems, processes, tools, comp plans, and KPIs that drive productivity and performance.
Strong accounting IT systems background with experience implementing cost accounting processes and managing margin / KPI analyses.
Strong communication skills with an ability to influence decision making at a senior level.
Highly proactive and curious with a desire to learn from others, meet deadlines, and accept responsibility.
Must reside or have the willingness to relocate to the Austin, TX area.
