ABOUT US:
We are a fast-growing, private equity backed aggregator of vending, micro market and breakroom services companies. With multiple operating entities and an active M&A pipeline, we are building a dynamic, scalable finance and accounting function to support rapid growth. We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team to partner with the CEO and grow the business.
POSITION Summary:
With plans to accelerate the growth and profitability of the business, Alliance Markets & Vending seeks to hire a Chief Financial Officer to develop a strong finance and accounting function, adapt and improve FP&A processes, build financial models and scenario planning for short, medium long-term financial performance projections, and build, manage, and mentor a team of finance professionals. This executive will also be involved with post-close integration of new acquisitions and various strategic initiatives. The position has a high level of visibility and interaction with SCP and the Board of Directors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategy & Process Improvement. Adapt and improve the core FP&A processes and organizational capabilities to support the scale and future growth of the company. Develop frameworks to support functional growth objectives. Partner with business leaders to grow sales, market share, profitability, and enterprise value. Experience in business strategy development, communication, and management at enterprise level. Includes: growth strategy, go-to-market, cost-out, and M&A. Clear evidence of ownership and implementation.
• Planning and Budgeting. Build financial models and scenario planning for short, medium long-term financial performance projections. Build budgets—including developing targets and considering “what-if” scenarios for revenue, pricing, and costs. Build forecasts and assess risks for both P&L and cash flow. Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, including expense budgets, working capital, cash flow estimates and scenario analysis.
• Performance Analysis. Experience with business performance analysis including costing and pricing, profitability, working capital, and SG&A. Experience in manufacturing or services shop situations, such as CAPEX and footprint optimization preferred. Perform ROI analyses for assets, staff additions, and restructuring. Prepare and present materials for investors and the Board of Directors.
• M&A Support. Build and manage an M&A services operation that will enable the company’s inorganic growth plans. Support will include target financial statement analysis, synergy case building, financial projections, and coordinating resources with the rest of the finance department. Experience with pre-transaction analysis and post-transaction integration of acquisitions.
• Team Leadership. Build, manage, and mentor a team of finance professionals fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Professional qualifications:
• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience including broad business experience and knowledge across multiple disciplines: accounting, transaction service, FP&A, tax, treasury, etc.
• Experience in distribution, field-based B2B services, or retail is preferred. Experience in high-growth, investor-backed environments is preferred.
• A track record of experience scaling the finance function to support enterprise growth.
• Experience with pre-transaction analysis and post-transaction acquisition integration, inclusive of financial processes and systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to board or other outside partners; ability to present concisely and with detail.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects with a sense of urgency.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- MBA and CPA preferred
