About Us
Yellow Chair Collective (YCC) and Nabi Family Therapy are mental health counseling practices dedicated to providing accessible, culturally inclusive care, with a particular focus on immigrant and multicultural communities. Together, we serve individuals, couples, and families through therapy, workshops, and community programming. We also collaborate with Entwine Community, our nonprofit arm, which expands access to resources and wellness programming for immigrant and BIPOC communities.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and community-minded Practice & Operations Coordinator to support daily operations, strengthen client services, and coordinate outreach initiatives that reflect our mission and support sustainable growth. Candidates must be self-starters, problem solvers, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with teams. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of their role—someone who is proactive, accountable, and able to carry projects forward with initiative.

Position Overview
The Practice & Operations Coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth workflows across YCC and Nabi Family Therapy, and may also assist with Entwine Community projects as needed. This role will coordinate outreach and community engagement initiatives, build partnerships, and support projects that expand visibility and increase revenue through improved client services, event participation, and referrals.

The position is designed to start part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role as responsibilities expand. We envision this position developing into a greater leadership role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Operations Support: Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient workflows across YCC, Nabi Family Therapy, and Entwine Community as needed. Support therapists’ caseloads, scheduling systems, communication processes, and documentation practices.
Client Services: Respond to client inquiries with compassion and professionalism. Support the administrative team to ensure prompt scheduling, intake, and follow-up that directly supports client retention and revenue growth.
Outreach & Community Engagement: Coordinate outreach initiatives, workshops, and community events. Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to expand visibility, strengthen referrals, and increase participation in services.
Marketing & Communications: Assist with outreach-related communications such as newsletters, flyers, and social media in collaboration with the team. Support website moderation and updates, and contribute to other online marketing efforts to strengthen visibility and engagement.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with administrative staff, providers, and leadership to support both operational needs and outreach projects.
Revenue Growth Support: Assist with tracking and reporting on outreach efforts, event participation, and referral pipelines to help increase practice revenue and sustainability.
Record & Compliance Support: Help maintain accurate and organized records in line with confidentiality and compliance standards.
Vendor & Stakeholder Support: Assist in communications with vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of services and events.

Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and follow through with accountability.
Experience in administrative coordination, operations, outreach, or business development within a healthcare, counseling, nonprofit, or community setting preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, professional approach.
Experience planning or supporting community events, workshops, or outreach initiatives.
Commitment to cultural competency and experience working with diverse communities.
Familiarity with healthcare settings, EHR systems, or billing processes a plus but not required.
Bilingual (please specify the language) is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Schedule

Location: Primarily remote, with occasional on-site work in Los Angeles/Orange County.
Hours: Part-time to start (20–25 hours per week), with the potential to expand into a full-time role.

Flexibility: Remote schedule with flexibility for in-person events and meetings as needed.
