Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Operations Managerto drive project and operational management for the distribution leadership team. The role will move across departments guiding strategic and high-focus priorities, ensuring alignment on key projects, and driving accountability for deliverables. This role also will serve as a connector, communicator, and problem solver – constantly streamlining operations, ensuring that deadlines are met and priorities are clearly communicated and adapted, as necessary. Must pay attention to details, be adaptable, flexible and reliable. Work must be done with integrity, discretion, and professionalism as information may be sensitive in nature.
This position is full-time and onsite in West Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with executives to provide high-level coordination and tracking for key projects and initiatives. Serve as a trusted point of contact and representative of executive leadership across the organization.
2. Partner with the Heads of Distribution to prioritize reporting needs for workstreams such as sales reporting, deal compliance, operational checklists, KPI pacing and global rights availability.
3. Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring milestones are met and updates are communicated effectively. Facilitate communication between departments to align on strategic initiatives and identify and/or resolve bottlenecks including reporting on them as needed.
4. Monitor and report on progress on key deliverables, follow up with stakeholders to stay on target, and proactively escalate risks or delays.
- Market preparation – working across multiple departments like Development, Finance, and Operations to organize documentation and materials for pitch meetings.
- Contract analysis and rights tracking – compiling and toplining terms/rights into summary sheets for easy financial tracking and understanding of platform availability.
- Work with Legal to prioritize proposals to content start dates and content priorities.
- Platform analysis and strategy – understanding platforms, their demos and schedules for best pitch practices
9. Systematize best practices in the sales process and continuously improve critical workflows.
10. Anticipate project/initiative needs and provide solutions that enhance workflow efficiency.
11. Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support operational transparency and decision-making
12. Drive a consistent cadence of quality, reliability, and performance reporting.
We What We Need
· BA/BS degree or commensurate applicable corporate work experience; media operations or digital industry experience preferred.
· Flexibility to pivot from one discipline to the next, while managing multiple concurrent projects of varying caliber/complexity; Proven ability to manage a large workload, prioritize and deliver high quality output is essential.
· Project organization/oversight experience ensuring projects are completed within scope.
· Familiarity with content distribution methods; SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, FAST etc.
· Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, Powerpoint a must; AI prompt experience preferred.
· Positive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to excel.
· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
· Collaborative approach with proven success in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
· Passion for emerging technologies and the entertainment/media industry.
· Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Compensation
