Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Operations Manager to optimize sales processes, drive efficiency, and strengthen the company’s commercial performance. This role is responsible for ensuring the sales organization and supporting functions operate seamlessly to achieve business growth. The Sales Operations Manager will oversee sales process design, CRM optimization, performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination to empower teams to maximize productivity and results.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Process & Optimization
- Develop, standardize, and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and align with company goals.
- Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and workflow management.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to set measurable goals and performance metrics for the team.
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks that affect sales effectiveness or data integrity.
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment between sales strategy and company objectives.
Inside Sales & Business Development
- Build, mentor, and lead the Inside Sales and Business Development teams to drive lead generation, nurture opportunities, and strengthen the sales pipeline.
- Develop strategies and metrics to expand new customer acquisition and grow existing accounts.
- Implement effective prospecting, qualification, and follow-up processes within the CRM to support pipeline visibility and conversion.
- Foster collaboration between Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Marketing to ensure cohesive demand generation and territory management.
- Provide coaching and development to enhance team performance and accountability.
CRM Strategy, Data Management & Reporting
- Serve as the primary owner of the company’s CRM system, ensuring accurate configuration, usage, and adoption across all sales functions.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure consistent tracking of leads, opportunities, and account activity.
- Build and manage CRM dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights for leadership and sales teams.
- Integrate CRM with ERP and other sales enablement tools to streamline processes and improve data flow.
- Use analytics to identify sales trends, forecast results, and recommend strategic improvements.
Technology & Tools
- Evaluate and implement sales technologies and tools that enhance efficiency and visibility.
- Lead system training and adoption initiatives to ensure consistent use of CRM and ERP systems.
- Continuously assess technology alignment with sales operations and business needs.
Marketing Materials Oversight
- Oversee the creation, updating, and distribution of company marketing materials, including product data sheets and safety data sheets.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with sales initiatives.
- Manage the Marketing Materials Coordinator to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of materials.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Oversee and coordinate teams across Business Development, Inside Sales, Marketing Materials, and Sales Support.
- Foster collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to support sales objectives.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to develop team members and ensure accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations and business development, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of optimizing processes, managing multiple sales functions, and driving growth through CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of lead generation, inside sales, sales enablement, and pipeline management.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
