Overview
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be the financial architect of our organization, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring robust financial health. You will lead a dynamic finance team and collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape our financial strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth. Your expertise in corporate finance, regulatory reporting, and risk management will be pivotal in navigating the complexities of our financial landscape.
What you’ll do
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial reports and analyses that provide insights into performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Manage treasury functions, ensuring optimal cash flow and effective capital allocation while adhering to regulatory compliance standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Drive mergers and acquisitions initiatives by conducting thorough market analysis and financial modeling to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement robust internal controls in accordance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission) frameworks to mitigate risks.
- Supervise corporate accounting functions, including payroll management, expense management, and cost control to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members and promoting best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development efforts through effective negotiation strategies and sound financial planning.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within finance or accounting, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts including revenue cycle management, risk analysis, and corporate finance principles.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in non-profit accounting or governmental accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 for revenue recognition standards is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial software tools for reporting and modeling purposes.
