JOB SUMMARY:
The Chief Financial Controller is responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to the General Manager and QCA/BC of all financial activities of Quapaw Casino to ensure fiscal stability, growth, and over financial health.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and analyses to support organizational goals.
· Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely fashion, ensuring accurate financial records.
· Review performance against operating budget and provides feedback.
· Works closely with Compliance to develop and implement internal control policies and procedures for all financial functions.
· Maintains compliance with internal controls, regulatory controls, and external audit requirements.
· Professional knowledge of casino accounting management concepts, principles, and practices
· Researched and adopts emerging technologies, tools, and nest practices to enhance reporting, forecasting, or operational efficiency.
· Responsible for, timecard approvals, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, terminations, and enforcing Quapaw Casino and departmental policies/procedures.
· Identifies, prioritizes, and resolves problems which occur within the department.
· Responsible for promptly addressing employee issues, concerns, or complaints as they arise; promptly address workplace issues in accordance with established policies.
· Must demonstrate good judgment and sound decisions when resolving problems, monitoring, documenting, and counseling subordinates.
· Conduct departments meetings as necessary to provide updates and direction.
· Attend all necessary training and departmental meetings as required.
· Maintains a professional work environment with casino guests, managers, vendors, and staff.
· Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
· Must uphold a high degree of confidentiality at all times of all customer transactions or personnel issues.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.
· Master’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting business accounting, or finance.
· Minimum four years previous experience in the gaming industry.
· Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
· Must possess manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, personal computers, copier, etc.
· Must have a working knowledge or ability to possess a working knowledge of the Quapaw Casino Employee Handbook, gaming regulations, departmental internal controls, and proper reporting procedures and confidentiality.
· Must possess excellent communication skills.
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
· Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
· Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with others.
· Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.
· Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
