Oracle CPQ Functional Consultant (Contract / Freelance)

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and result-driven Oracle CPQ Functional Consultant to join us on a contract/freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) with a proven track record of leading end-to-end implementations and delivering scalable Quote-to-Cash solutions.
This role requires a self-driven professional who can independently manage client interactions, solution design, system configuration, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions
- Conduct business requirement gathering sessions and solution workshops
- Design and configure:
- Product configuration rules
- Pricing and discount logic
- Approval workflows
- Commerce processes and quote generation
- Manage and optimize Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD) and solution documentation
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations with CRM and ERP systems
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous system enhancements
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience- 8–10 years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines)
- Experience in at least 2–3 full-cycle Oracle CPQ implementations
- Strong functional expertise in:
- Product Configuration
- Pricing Rules and Discount Structures
- Approval Matrix and Workflow Setup
- Commerce and Quote Document Generation
- Working knowledge of BML (BigMachines Markup Language)
- Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with CRM (Oracle CX / Salesforce) and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of business sales processes and Quote-to-Cash lifecycle
Preferred Skills- Experience in Oracle Fusion CX / Sales Cloud
- Exposure to REST/SOAP integrations
- Experience in data migration and deployment activities
- Prior consulting experience in client-facing roles
