Summary
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer/Controller to join our team in the US. This pivotal role will oversee all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring that we maintain our reputation for reliability while driving strategic financial growth. The CFO will play a key role in aligning financial strategies with our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Manage financial reporting, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets.
- Direct treasury management activities, optimizing cash flow and investment strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business development initiatives.
- Ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting processes are in place.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or similar role in the construction or contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, corporate finance, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on strategic planning and risk analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools for effective financial management.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful mergers & acquisitions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
