Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, operational, and results-oriented, Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance and support operations functions. This role will be instrumental in structuring a high-performing finance team, overseeing operational efficiencies, and driving company growth through mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will bring experience in financial management, acquisition integration, and operational leadership within PE backed organizations with $10M - $20M revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth objectives.
- Structure, scale, and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Establish effective financial controls, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting packages to support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow, financial planning, and analysis to ensure the financial health of the organization.
2. Acquisition and Integration
- Lead due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation efforts for potential acquisitions, identifying and assessing business risks and opportunities.
- Oversee post-acquisition integration strategies to streamline processes, systems, and company culture.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure a smooth integration of acquired entities, focusing on aligning teams, financial structures, and operational workflows.
- Maintain a strategic focus on maximizing ROI, achieving synergies, and enhancing shareholder value from acquisitions.
3. Operational Efficiency and Optimization
- Develop and implement scalable, nation-wide operational frameworks and workflows that enhance efficiency and productivity across geographically disbursed departments.
- Support operational strategy and ancillary teams to drive best practices, standardize procedures, and achieve consistent quality.
- Partner with department heads to identify process improvements and eliminate inefficiencies, fostering a data-driven approach to operational success.
4. Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, offering insights on both financial and operational impacts of business strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, enabling a culture of collaboration and transparency.
- Implement KPIs to measure performance across both finance and operations, aligning these with corporate objectives and reporting progress to the board.
5. Risk Management and Compliance
- Oversee all aspects of risk management, including legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations.
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place and adhered to across financial and operational functions, safeguarding company assets and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar senior role within PE backed organizations with revenue in the $10M - $20M range.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in building and scaling finance teams.
- Demonstrated success in acquisition due diligence, integration planning, and managing post-acquisition transitions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on driving collaboration across teams.
