We are looking for an experienced account manager / small business CFO to join our team. The ideal candidate has an accounting background, leadership experience and has worked with small to mid-sized businesses (ideally multiple clients at once).
This is a remote, full-time role with priority given to those in the Kansas/Missouri/Ohio/Texas areas.
Position Description
- Serve as ongoing CFO / Account Manager for multiple small and mid-size businesses
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly interaction with clients
- Process oversight for accounts payable, receivables, reconciling, etc.
- Business problem solver - Help our clients improve and grow their businesses
Key Responsibilities
- Regular communication with clients to learn their needs and deliver results
- Assist clients in developing operational budgets
- Strategic thinking towards improving business operations and promoting company growth
- Ability to take a mess and create clarity
- Provide sound business advice for client questions
- Lead client management & accounting meetings
- Provide high quality work and integrity in business activities
Skills / Experience / Education
- Degreed Accountant with 6-10 years of experience
- Helpful software experience (QuickBooks, QBO, MS Office)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail oriented / Strong critical thinking / Business minded
