Job Title: Sales Operations Contractor
Location: Onsite – Edinburgh
Contract: Until 31st December
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13.84 p/h
Key Responsibilities
- Chase and collect missing Proof of Deliveries (PODs) from customers and carriers.
- Upload PODs into the Sales Order system (D365).
- Review all orders from June onwards to ensure PODs, Airway Bills (AWBs), and Bills of Lading (BOLs) are uploaded correctly.
- Contact carriers/customers to obtain missing AWB/BOL documentation and update D365 accordingly.
- Email customers to obtain Import, GMP, and GDP licences for current and upcoming sales months.
- Save licences to the appropriate folders and upload them into D365 sales orders.
- Apply for and endorse export licences with the Home Office, updating both D365 and the licence tracker.
- Update export shipping trackers weekly (data transfer tasks).
- Review the Sales Ops Kanban board twice weekly to ensure confirmed ship dates align with D365 orders.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation streams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and carriers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
