Full Time Contract: Sales Operational & Process Support
Compensation: $75/hr.
Location: Onsite - Southwest of Boston
Length of Contract: 6 months +
Position Description:
This contract position will support the day-to-day activities of the commercial process with our Client. This person will support the sales process by working with Customer Service, Inside Sales Representatives and Application Engineering to streamline and perform analysis on quotation and sales data.
This position will work to assist and drive process improvements to the commercial process. This will entail interacting with senior management and an outside consultant to redefine and implement process improvements to the sales processes. The work will include assessments on the quotation process, follow-up on the quote process, proactive inside sales communication with customers, integrating the HubSpot CRM into these processes and creating a support process for account management. This position will work with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
Quotation Support
- Support the collection of multiple customer inquiry streams to simplify the upfront process for collecting and summarizing quotation requests. Support the quoting process to deliver responsiveness and speed to complete quotations in less than 48 hours. Tracks and maintains information necessary to maintain and improve quote turnaround time. Participate in Daily Specials Quotation Review with the Contract review team. Work with the inside sales team in data support and streamlining of the process. Maintains reporting on the progress of open quotations and open RFQ's. Learn the existing quotation process to assist in the project to improve and streamline the future state of the process.
Data Analysis
- Perform sales analytics to support new products or sales activities. Analyze online store activity, quote requests and order follow-up to maximize order win rate on new opportunities. Execute analysis on various sales processes and data to measure effectiveness of existing products and processes. Develop and implement new metrics as required to drive continuous improvement and meet customer expectations. Work with the Marketing Manager to analyze the potential to integrate HubSpot CRM into various processes.
Project Responsibilities
- Will interface with consultants as part of Sales Excellence implementation. Manage day-to-day activities on new projects to assess, define and implement process improvements to the existing systems. Projects will include assessing existing ERP and CRM systems to streamline internal processes.
- Support various Projects to improve the front-end commercial process. Projects will include assessment of the quoting process, defining Account segmentation and assessing the customer service structure to improve the account management process.
- Other Projects may include sales analytics and improvements to the on-line store and Express Coat services.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical device industry and in a customer facing role a plus.
- Experience with OEM in an industrial environment is key.
- Experience in ERP and CRM systems use.
- Strong Microsoft excel and math skills.
- Strong computer and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8 - 12 years of professional experience in a business-to-business environment.
