Position Title: Sales Support Coordinator - Merchant Services
Location: West Des Moines, IA ~or~ Irving, TX
Pay: $26 - $27 /hr
Work Schedule:
- Hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
- Remote days require dual monitor setup
Overview
The Sales Support Coordinator will support various business execution and administrative functions within the Merchant Services domain. This includes validating merchant account requests, supporting merchant client onboarding, and ensuring seamless coordination between Account Managers (AMs), Sales, and internal processing systems.
Responsibilities- Support merchant services sales operations, proactively identifying process improvement opportunities
- Interact with client-facing teams, particularly Account Managers and Sales
- Process, validate, and manage merchant onboarding requests, including entering data, validating for accuracy, and communicating updates
- Coordinate delivery of products, tools, and transaction processing items related to merchant accounts
- Manage updates to product and pricing details with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and business acumen across all interactions
Required Qualifications- Merchant services experience is required, including:
- Payments, credit cards, end-to-end payment processing
- Merchant account management
- Merchant client onboarding workflows
- Understanding of merchant services tools and systems
- Experience and business acumen interacting with Sales and AMs in a fast-paced environment
- Preference for candidates who have previously worked at this client in the past
- Professional demeanor and interest in converting to full-time employment
- 2+ years of administrative or business support experience, or equivalent via consulting, military, training, or education
- Demonstrated ability to manage detailed, process-driven tasks
- Strong communication and coordination experience with multiple teams
