Business Operations Analyst (maternity cover)
IntelliSense.io is offering a great opportunity for a sharp, proactive Business Operations Analyst to support our sales teams. You’ll combine analytics, process improvement, and pre-sales support to drive pipeline efficiency, deliver winning proposals, and ensure data-informed decisions.
IntelliSense.io uniquely combines expertise in Mining disciplines, Data Science, and Software Engineering with the power of Objective-driven AI to deliver real-time, process-specific optimisation applications for the Mining Industry.
With a global, remote-first team of 70 employees and offices across four continents, our HQ is in Cambridge, UK with regional offices in Santiago (Chile), Perth (Australia) and Ireland (EU).
What You’ll Do
ClickUp & Business Intelligence Management
- Own and optimise ClickUp as the central operating system for Sales and Business Operations, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and adoption across teams.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automation workflows to provide real-time visibility into pipeline health, sales performance, and key business metrics.
- Translate operational data into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making for senior leadership.
- Partner with functional leads (Sales, Marketing, Delivery) to align ClickUp structures and reporting frameworks with strategic business goals.
- Train and support team members to improve ClickUp usage, embedding best practices for productivity and accountability.
Sales Operations & Analysis
- Support Sales Operations in tracking pipeline performance, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
- Prepare business cases, presentations, and performance reports for senior leadership and cross-functional meetings.
- Identify and deliver process improvements across the sales workflow and related tools to enhance efficiency and visibility.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with senior sales leaders, technical teams, and executives to gather requirements and insights.
- Manage input from multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Challenge assumptions constructively to ensure clarity and precision in deliverables.
Who You Are
- Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years’ experience in business operations, sales analytics, consulting, or similar roles.
- Proven experience managing and optimising ClickUp or other work management platforms.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in data reporting, dashboarding, or BI tools (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Commercially minded, resilient, and solutions-oriented.
- CRM experience (Salesforce or HubSpot) a plus.
