Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Gujarat, India (Headquarters with Global Presence)
Reporting To: Board of Directors / Chairman
Works Closely With: CEO & Executive Leadership Team
Role Purpose
The Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial strategy, governance, and long-term investment planning to support the organization’s transformation into a global leader in composite engineering and EPC solutions. The CFO will ensure financial excellence, drive value creation, strengthen corporate governance, and support Vision 2035 to scale the company to a multi-thousand-crore global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop the financial strategy aligned with long-term business goals and ₹3,500 crore investment deployment roadmap.
- Advise the Board and CEO on growth opportunities, capital structuring, and strategic investments.
- Drive financial planning, scenario modelling, and long-range budgeting processes.
- Lead M&A strategy, joint ventures, and global expansion financial evaluations.
B. Financial Management & Performance
- Ensure achievement of annual revenue, profitability, and cash flow targets.
- Manage P&L, balance sheet, budgeting cycles, forecasts, and financial KPIs.
- Optimize working capital, inventory cycles, and cost structures across the organization.
- Oversee treasury functions, capital allocation, and fundraising strategies.
C. Controls, Governance & Compliance
- Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, corporate governance norms, taxation laws, and global accounting standards.
- Implement enterprise-wide financial policies, audit systems, and compliance mechanisms.
- Manage external and internal audits, investor requirements, and due-diligence processes.
D. Operational & Business Finance
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects, EPC, and Sales teams to ensure financial accountability.
- Implement cost optimization, pricing frameworks, and project profitability models for EPC and large-scale engineering projects.
- Drive digital transformation in finance through ERP/automation initiatives and analytics-driven decision making.
- Support project financing, contract structuring, and large-capex decisions.
E. Investment, Expansion & Risk Oversight
- Lead capital budgeting for new plants, WCM initiatives, R&D centres, and global expansions.
- Assess financial viability of diversification into aerospace, defence, semiconductors, renewables, and international markets.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies for forex, commodity, regulatory, and operational risks.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and rating agencies.
F. Leadership & Team Development
- Build and mentor a strong Finance, Accounts, Treasury, and Compliance team.
- Develop a culture of accuracy, transparency, efficiency, and ethical conduct.
- Strengthen capability building through training, digital tools, and continuous improvement.
- Establish a robust succession pipeline for future financial leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Experience
- 20–25+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Minimum 10 years in senior financial roles (CFO, Group Finance Head, VP Finance)
- Experience in Process Equipment, Composites, EPC, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Heavy Engineering industries preferred
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, EPC project financials, costing, IFRS/Ind-AS, taxation, and treasury management.
- Expertise in large capex planning, structured financing, M&A, JV evaluation, and investor management.
Leadership Competencies
- Strategic thinker with strong business partnership ability
- Exceptional governance mindset, ethical standards, and stakeholder management
- Ability to lead transformation, scale systems, and build world-class financial capabilities
Global Exposure
- Experience managing international financial operations, global compliance, and cross-border transactions preferred.
