We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Agency, Commercial & Specialty CFO to lead our financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes. As a key member of GEICO’s Finance leadership team, you will ensure the delivery of the quarterly, annual, and medium-term financial commitments of the Specialty, Commercial and Agency Division through best-in-class performance management processes, systems, and capabilities.
Leadership:
Develop, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team to support their development and achievement of goals.
Build agility and resilience within the team and the broader finance organization to drive transformation.
Manage relationships with external auditors, investors, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required , with a Master’s degree or professional certification like Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
15+ years’ experience in strategic financial data analysis with a minimum of 10 years developing and leading a team in the insurance industry.
Experience working with executive and senior management to develop and implement successful strategic data/reporting solutions an assess and/or define new business opportunities.
Extensive functional experience in P&L management, corporate planning, business unit finance, strategy, and operations in insurance a plus.
Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting, and advanced data and financial modeling within the insurance industry.
Proactive mindset and a relentless passion to win.
Effective and inspiring team leadership skills with proven ability to hire and train top talent and inspire through coaching and recognition.
Highly collaborative individual who can influence multiple internal partners to drive results in a matrixed environment.
Extensive project management expertise and experience in transformation.
Ability to balance attention to detail and accuracy with tight deadlines on critically meaningful work.
An "own it" attitude; a "doer" comfortable in a lean, informal, and free flowing environment; solves problems collaboratively through open and constructive discussion. Not overly corporate or too big company. Proactive and comfortable wearing many hats.
Data-driven and biased for action. Able to make quick, calculated decisions with confidence.
Provide a strong point of view as a key member of the senior finance team. Provide strategic vision and tactical execution to enhance revenue growth.
Highly motivated; brings a high level of enthusiasm and energy; wants to win. Brings a scrappy attitude and is unafraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the details.
Possess strong leadership qualities and proven ability to lead through influence in a strong region/business led organization; a track record of recruiting, motivating, and developing “A” talent. Builds strong teams and is able to get work done through teams.

Annual Salary
$238,000.00 - $442,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
