Our Client is seeking a dynamic Regional Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations across multiple sites within a high‑growth region. This executive role oversees all key finance functions—including FP&A, financial controls, cost accounting, tax, treasury, AP/AR, general ledger, and credit/collections—while partnering closely with senior leadership to drive performance, profitability, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Lead
- Shape regional financial goals and ensure strong alignment with corporate objectives.
- Direct the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the region.
- Partner with regional leaders to strengthen cross‑functional collaboration and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide deep financial insights through business reviews, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Lead and mentor site‑level finance teams, building strong capabilities and a culture of accountability.
- Oversee core accounting functions and proactively optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Support the implementation of cost accounting enhancements and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Guide technology transitions and reporting improvements as sites adopt new systems.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, financial standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to workforce planning and maintain proper staffing across finance functions.
Talent & Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing finance leaders.
- Utilize organizational talent management programs to support leadership growth.
- Provide consistent coaching and performance feedback.
- Effectively engage and manage remote teams across multiple locations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in mid‑ to senior‑level finance or accounting roles.
- Background in manufacturing or food production environments preferred.
- Experience in both union and non‑union settings is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 50% across regional operating locations.
