Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in corporate finance, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, with a strong background in managing complex financial systems within both non-profit and for-profit environments. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring fiscal health, and supporting sustainable growth through effective risk management, budgeting, and business development initiatives. This leadership position requires a visionary professional capable of overseeing all financial aspects of the organization while aligning with our mission and long-term objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, COSO standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead revenue management, profit & loss analysis, expense control, cost management, and cost control initiatives to optimize organizational profitability.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
- Supervise financial planning and analysis activities such as budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and market analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and manage risk analysis processes to mitigate potential financial risks.
- Oversee mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence and integration processes.
- Lead audit coordination efforts with external auditors and ensure adherence to governmental accounting standards for non-profit and public accounting sectors.
- Manage the revenue cycle process and revenue cycle management strategies to maximize revenue streams.
- Supervise teams responsible for payroll management, technical accounting, cost accounting, supply chain finance, and other related functions.
- Write detailed financial reports and interpret complex financial data for senior leadership and board members.
- Drive business development initiatives through market analysis and strategic planning to expand organizational impact.
Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience as a CFO or equivalent executive role within diverse sectors such as non-profit organizations or corporate environments.
- Extensive background in financial concepts including risk management, fiscal management, regulatory compliance (GAAP, IFRS), and technical accounting standards (ASC 606).
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and business analysis to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of treasury management practices along with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
- Skilled in managing large teams across finance functions such as accounting, audit coordination, payroll management, and supply chain finance.
- Proficiency with advanced financial software systems used for financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to lead change management processes effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting complex data clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Pay: $95,584.30 - $135,843.47 per year
