A leading healthcare organization is seeking a seasoned
Chief Financial Officer to guide its financial strategy, strengthen organizational performance, and ensure long-term fiscal stability. This executive leader will oversee all core financial functions, shape financial policy, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the board.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Directing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle oversight.
- Evaluating the organization’s financial position and providing timely, accurate operational and financial updates.
- Developing financial policies, internal controls, and procedures that protect assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Overseeing accounting, payroll, and reimbursement functions to support cost-effective and transparent operations.
- Ensuring full compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
- Partnering closely with internal leaders, clinical teams, financial institutions, and community stakeholders to support strategic and operational goals.
- Contributing to system-wide financial initiatives and long-range planning.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPA, CMA, FHFMA, or similar financial credential strongly preferred.
- At least seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in financial management; healthcare finance experience is highly desirable.
- Background in a Critical Access Hospital or comparable healthcare environment is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of financial regulations, reporting requirements, healthcare reimbursement, and fiscal compliance.
- Proven track record of building financial strategy, driving organizational performance, and leading high-impact teams.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and strategic leadership skills.
