General Summary
The North America Regional Business Operations Manager plays a critical role in enabling the regional team to achieve pipeline expansion, revenue growth, and drive broad strategic initiatives. This position partners closely with regional sales & business development teams to drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities For North America Region
Regional Performance Goals & KPI Reporting
- Play lead role in setting annual goals/metrics including pipeline goals, design win targets, and revenue budget.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders to develop accurate forecasts and lead monthly reviews to track forecast changes (including risks & opportunities).
- Analyze sales performance metrics, design-win trends, and market share data to provide actionable insights.
- Lead the sales incentive plan alignment process and manage ongoing progress tracking. Work closely with Finance and Business unit team in setting annual objectives. Assist in communication and training/education between Sales Operations and regional salespersons.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for salespersons and leadership to track KPIs and identify opportunities & risks.
Strategic Business Support
- Business Operations partner for Industrial IOT, Automotive and Connectivity Broadband & Networking Sales & Business Development teams.
- Provide reporting, content creation and other support for internal executive reviews.
- Provide ad-hoc strategic market analysis and insights.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and BU / Product Management to align regional strategies and resolve operational challenges.
- Support execution of go-to-market initiatives, distribution sales, channel programs, and territory planning.
Tools & Enablement
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline business processes (opportunity registration, pipeline management, revenue forecasting, etc).
- Drive adoption and optimization of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) processes
- Drive AI initiatives across the North America region; act as regional liaison to pilot / test Sales Operations and other corporate process changes and initiatives.
- Train and support sales teams on operational processes and best practices.
This is an office based position (5 days) that is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy.
The position can be based out of Qualcomm's San Diego or Santa Clara locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.
OR
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 9+ years of business operations or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations or related functions; Tech or Semiconductor experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, CRM systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Detail oriented; experience with synthesizing large data sets to drive actionable analysis & recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with complex dynamics.
- Technical experience with Salesforce and AI tools (e.g. Copilot)
- Knowledge of semiconductor sales cycles, design-win processes, and distribution / channel partner programs.
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and demand planning in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience working with global teams and managing regional operational priorities.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$122,400.00 - $183,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
