We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Co-Founder to join the leadership team and help scale ToolKart into India’s most trusted and comprehensive digital marketplace for metal cutting tools.
THIS ROLE IS PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR DRIVING SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for TOOLKART.
This role is ideal for someone experienced and passionate about manufacturing, industrial technology, and building a high-impact B2B commerce company from the ground up. You will take ownership across strategy, operations, technology, customer growth, and supplier partnerships.
You will:- Shape overall business strategy and ToolKart’s position in the manufacturing supply chain
- Lead marketplace expansion, including supplier onboarding, OEM partnerships, and category scaling
- Drive sales, marketing, and GTM initiatives focused on industrial buyers (MSMEs, CNC shops, fabrication units, auto ancillaries, aerospace suppliers, etc.)
- Oversee product roadmap and platform innovation, including catalog digitization, search intelligence, buyer workflows, and procurement tools
- Build and optimize operations, supply chain processes, and service-level excellence
- Develop investor relationships, fundraising strategy, and ecosystem partnerships
- Recruit and mentor the early team while shaping ToolKart’s culture, values, and long-term vision
- Represent ToolKart across industry forums, manufacturing networks, and technology communities
Note: This role requires possible investment contribution (optional) + active, hands-on involvement in scaling the company.
Qualifications & Who we are looking for:
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN MACHINING / METAL CUTTING industry.
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in sales, business development, supply chain, industrial tools, manufacturing, or B2B commerce
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Entrepreneurial thinker — scrappy, execution-focused, and growth-oriented
- Prior startup, manufacturing, industrial sales, or tech leadership experience is a strong plus
Degree doesn’t matter—skills, drive, and deep ownership matter more.
