- The company adopts a “China-based R&D and manufacturing + Australia-localised operations” model, aiming to build a truly local Australian brand, clearly differentiated from traditional cross-border e-commerce or purely offline distribution models.
- This is an internal venture project, directly driven and funded by the founder. It does not rely on external financing, ensuring strong financial backing and long-term commitment.
Business Model & Team Setup
- Establish a local entity in Australia, register a local brand, and build a sales system combining social media marketing with offline experience and activation.
- In the initial phase, the Australian team will focus on sales and customer service, while China supports product R&D and marketing.
- Over time, core functions such as data centers, R&D, and product design will gradually shift to Australia to achieve genuine localisation.
- The sales model will explore innovative online-to-offline (O2O) approaches, primarily B2C, distinct from pure online sales or traditional distributor-led models.
Role Requirements & Ideal Candidate Profile
- Recruit an Australia-based leader to build the sales and service system from scratch, with proven 0-to-1 market entry experience.
- Strong passion for AI-driven products and smart hardware, with long-term belief in the industry’s potential.
- Mandatory sales background, with solid understanding of the local market, consumer behaviour, regulations, cost structures, and strong online/commercial sense.
- Hardware, mechanical, or smart device sales experience preferred (around 50% relevance is sufficient; exact industry match not required).
- Ability to lead both digital marketing initiatives and offline channel execution, owning the design and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
Company Setup & Compliance
- The company will operate fully compliantly in Australia, including company registration, local employment, and regulatory adherence.
