Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Present financial reports and analysis to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, Medicaid, grant, and contract financial requirements
- Manage audits, cost reports, and financial reviews
- Monitor cash flow, reserves, and financial performance
- Analyze program costs, reimbursement rates, and profitability
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies
- Support grant management, funding renewals, and rate negotiations
- Collaborate with the CEO/Acting CEO and leadership team

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in healthcare, human services, nonprofit, or group home settings
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills for executive and board-level presentations
- Knowledge of government funding and cost reporting
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, or MBA
- Experience with foster care or behavioral health programs
- Familiarity with CARF or similar accreditation standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
