Job Purpose: The Business Operations Manager is responsible for managing all vendor relationships, maintenance, supplies, security, service and support for the business office. This individual will be responsible for organizing daily business operations, coordinating cross-departmental projects, and assisting with the strategic execution of operational goals. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient solutions that optimize operations.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Management of the daily operations of the organization, ensuring workflows are efficient and aligned with business goals and productivity. *
- Manage and track cross-departmental projects, ensuring timelines are met, deliverables are achieved, and resources are appropriately allocated. *
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Ensure all contracts, agreements, and deliverables are met and budgeted according to terms. *
- Plan and organize key internal and external meetings, conferences, and team-building activities related to business operations. *
- Ensure the smooth operation of the front office, including organizing office supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating equipment maintenance and repair needs. *
- Provide logistical support for events held in the business office, including setting up event spaces, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring all requirements are met. *
- Oversight on shipping & receiving to the business office, use of company vehicle(s), and rental car programs.
- Act as the point person for any issues related to the business office.*
- Assist safety and risk management initiatives, including emergency preparedness, process, and life safety systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities
- Support locker room, hospitality, and VIP suite needs, ensuring smooth experiences for players, staff, and high-profile guests. *
- Coordination with basketball operations, arena staff, and team security for post-game friends and family process. *
- Develop and execute a high-profile VIP guest process to facilitate world class customer service covering logistics, ticketing, parking, and amenities. *
- Coordinate with arena concessionaire cross-department needs to build out F&B programming for premium members, season ticket holders, groups, media, and locker room & officials needs. *

Job Requirements
- Formal Education & Relevant Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, preferably within professional sports or entertainment.
- Strong knowledge of office management.
- Proficiency in business software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).*
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.*
- Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for both Dallas Wings, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.*

Physical Requirements*
