CPQ Architect to become a cornerstone of our transformative Enterprise CPQ initiative. This multi-year project aims to modernize and integrate our global sales tools into a single, high-performance business stack that streamlines operations and delivers world-class value to our customers.
We aren't just looking for someone to "translate requirements into code." We need an analytical thinker who can identify legitimate business needs, challenge the status quo, and design intelligent solutions that drive continuous process improvement across a global enterprise.
As a CPQ Architect, you will sit at the intersection of Engineering, Sales, and IT. You will be responsible for mastering the administration and implementation of our enterprise software while ensuring our complex engineering requirements are met with precision.
- Solution Architecture: Design and architect CPQ configurations and commerce flows that enable the cross-selling of diverse industrial product lines (including pumps, valves, and seal equipment).
- Strategic Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate CPQ with Salesforce CRM, ERP, and other critical enterprise systems.
- Process Innovation: Build a deep understanding of quoting processes to identify areas for standardization and consolidation.
- Hands-on Development: Participate in the active build of designed solutions, ensuring they are scalable, stable, and efficient.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a thought leader within the Solution Delivery team, mentoring junior members across different time zones and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Troubleshooting: Provide high-level programming support and troubleshooting for current applications running on Oracle CPQ.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant CPQ experience (Oracle CPQ/BigMachines preferred, but agnostic CPQ experience is welcomed).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, Java or C#, JavaScript, JQuery, XML/XSL, and BML.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with the constraints of heavy industry and manufacturing (e.g., material restrictions, complex lead-time calculations).
- Project Delivery: Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-geography projects from design to deployment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts with clarity and precision to stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and engineering operations.
