Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Kochi. This position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying potential business opportunities, and driving sales growth. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions, and aligning business development efforts with company goals. The successful candidate will also analyze market trends and develop action plans to expand the customer base and achieve financial growth.
Qualifications
Core Operations
• Oversee daily business operations to ensure smooth workflow across sales, projects, and service teams.
• Monitor and improve internal processes for efficiency and cost control
• Ensure coordination between sales, marketing, installation, and service departments
CRM & Lead Management
• Ensure daily Zoho CRM updates for leads, follow-ups, site visits, and conversions.
• Track lead lifecycle from enquiry to order closure.
• Analyse CRM data and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports
Team Management
• Handle and supervise a team of up to 15 members (Sales, CRM, Operations, Marketing support)
• Assign targets, monitor productivity, and conduct regular performance reviews
• Provide guidance, training, and motivation to the team.
Sales & Marketing Coordination
• Track marketing campaigns (digital, offline, reference leads) and measure ROI
• Coordinate with marketing agencies and internal teams for lead generation
• Support management with market insights, competitor analysis, and sales strategies
Compliance & Documentation
• Collect, verify, and maintain elevator licensing and statutory documents
• Coordinate with government departments, consultants, and inspectors for approvals
• Ensure all projects comply with local elevator rules, safety norms, and regulations
Reporting & Management Support
• Prepare MIS reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management
• Identify operational gaps and suggest process improvements
• Support management in strategic planning and expansion initiatives
